Run over by a truck and trailer and left for dead, some good samaritans moved him over and called animal control. He was taken back to the shelter to be euthanized from his horrific injuries (broken jaw, major road rash, exposed bone in front leg, a broken pelvis and an eye had popped out).
After being sedated, he wagged his tail. They couldn't do it. SCF got the call and they rushed him to our vet. After surgery, it was one of the hardest rehabs we have performed. Lots of red light therapy and vet visits to debride the dying skin. I named him Demo, short for Demolition Derby. He is one of the toughest dogs we know to this day and resides at the farm.
